How Liberare Fits in the Adaptive Apparel Industry

Liberare was started with a simple mission: make adaptive clothing with disabled women in mind. In the last few years, there’s been a huge boom in the amount of brands in the adaptive apparel industry. With lots of big brands hopping on the adaptive apparel trend, we’re seeing more interest in the adaptive industry than ever before. In fact, in 2017 the adaptive clothing industry was worth about 278.9 million, yet it’s projected to grow to 400 billion by 2026. It could be even more, considering that 2020 has placed a huge focus on accessibility and social good. And we’re so thrilled to see it!

Our dream has always been to normalize offering adaptive apparel in every store in the world. However, it can be hard to know which brands are just joining this for the trend and which really deeply care about their customers.

So one might ask, why Liberare? Out of all the brands that offer adaptive options now, why us? What makes us different from any other adaptive apparel brand?

Our answer to that question is this: we make every product with you in mind. Liberare was founded with the intent to make sexy, adaptive, and functional lingerie. And at Liberare, we don’t rush anything. YOU, the customer, have always been and will always be the most important part of our brand. YOU matter more than anything else. From the beginning of Liberare, we’ve been taking your feedback and thinking of what we could do to make your lives better, whether it’s through our adaptive lingerie, our community of supportive disabled women, or our blogs and workshops, everything has been created with you in mind.

As we continue working on releasing our first products for you, and continue to work on our disabled community, we’ve been so grateful for all of your support in everything we do and loving our mission just as much as we do. We’ve been working for a year on developing and perfecting our first products, that just might be released very soon ;). No matter where the adaptive apparel industry goes, or how many brands enter the scene, we will always continue to listen to you and prioritize you first, because nothing is more important than finally giving disabled women the sexy and adaptive clothing they deserve.
